Are there any Greeks who still identify as Romaioi/Roman over Hellenes anymore?

Just curious because I know Southern Italy, Ukraine, and Turkey still have small Greek speaking populations. I remember reading somewhere that some rural Greeks in Turkey still identify as Romans. I really can't find anything online though. Anybody know anything?
