Help getting Windows to install
EDIT: For those who find this post in the future, I solved my issue by using a different USB. I had already used two different ones before, and the one that worked was the oldest and crappiest one I had. Such is life
My build is essentially done; all that's left is to download Windows so I can actually use it. That's where the problem is, unfortunately. On the initial install (with the Media Creation Tool), I moved the case while the progress was at 52%. Since the power cable wasn't in all the way, the computer lost power and the installation stopped.
My next two attempts with the same USB and installation hit exactly 52% and stopped. I tried a new Media Creation Tool installer, which managed to break BIOS. After fixing that, I tried using Media Creation Tool one last time, which failed to launch the installer at all.
I tried using Rufus today, which did actually launch the installer. However, it hasn't gotten past 20% installation progress before failing on any of my attempts. I feel like I'm running out of alternatives- I've sanitized my SSD, used different USB ports, different USBs, etc. What should I try next to get Windows to install? Thanks in advance!
