Is it worth upgrading Ryzen 1800X?

I am thinking of upgrading my CPU but wonder if the benefits for gaming will be worth the money invested. I would change the MOBO and RAM since my Motherboard is having some physical issues.

Current Build

CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 1800X

Motherboard. Prime X470-Pro

RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance 4x8gb 3000MHz

GPU:EVGA GTX 1080 FTW

NVME: Samsung 980 gen 3 1TB

I intend to play some single player games like Cyberpunk and also Oculus Rift S games.

I saw on this subreddit that some of the benchmark websites I was looking at weren't impartial so I'd like some feedback.
