Life on RAF after Officer training (phase 1 & 2)

Hi all,

I have an appointment in a couple of weeks to find out more information about joining the RAF as an officer. My main appeal right now is Regiment Officer.

I've seen a fair few things on what training is like. I get it's 24 weeks training to get you ready to be an officer, followed by 26 weeks of training for your specialism.

But what is life like after that? What's the living situation like and the work life balance? What's day to day stuff like?

Just trying to understand as much as I can and create a picture of what to expect, because I want this to be a very long term career.

How have people found it?
