Pros & Cons of Cold Capping

Hello! I was recently diagnosed with IDC grade 1 & IDC grade 2 for a second tumor. Waiting on my HER2 to see if chemo will be necessary as they are both very much Er+.

If chemo is needed I am considering to cold cap. What’re the pros? Cons? I keep seeing it adds hours to your session and because I know my session will be 5-6 hours I don’t love that idea of spending more time there but I also don’t want to lose my long hair I’ve worked so hard to grow out! I know this is petty but I still want to feel somewhat human or like myself throughout this journey.
