Me and my best freind argued about me crossdressing :/

I asked him what he thought about femboys and if it would be weird if I started dressing like one, and he said it was disgusting. He pretty much just thinks that men should conform to all gender roles, but tomboys are an exception somehow. Eventually he just said that he would be neutral about it, saying he wouldn't support me but he also wouldn't be against me, saying me being his best freind cancels out his hatred for femboys. It hurts a lot, because my other closest freind seems really hesitant about it whenever I bring it up, liking he's hiding his opinion just to not hurt my feelings. The only person who's supported me is my third best freind, and she was being awesome and telling me her opinions on some clothes I picked out on amazon, saying if she liked them or not. The idea of crossdressing is really appealing to me, but when one of my closest freinds litterally says it's disgusting, it's like a punch in the gut. Not to mention what my parents would think of it, and i don't even want to think about that. I just wanna dress cute man, why do people hate it so much....
