Got A Job Offer in the Boston/Chelsea Area. Any neighborhood/apartment suggestions?

I'm not from this city at all, and the searching I've done online so far seems really daunting. I genuinely don't want any kind of roommate situation for personal reasons and the ideal/realistic range I'm shooting for is $2000-2500. (I would say a couple hundred below 2k but that's only if I'm lucky lol)

I'm super, duper flexible if any neighborhoods you know are far out from the city! Just as long as it has some form of transportation to get there...I can't drive :p
