Quiet Comfort Ultra plastic moving sound

I just received my new headphone, every time I move my head, chew or walk the left side makes a plastic cracking sound. It’s the actual headphone not the sound coming from it. It sounds like a plastic element is loose. Nothing appears to be loose, the headphones are brand new. I contacted Bose via chat and they are sending a replacement but I was wondering if anyone experienced this before?
