Just needing some advice.
Hey everyone, it’s been a while since I’ve posted. I’m just looking for some advice on how I should handle bigger opponents. For context I’m a blue belt, I have been doing BJJ for almost 4 years. I had to take some time off after getting my blue belt due to family issues. So in the last two years I’ve missed a lot, which will be factor I know in why my game is not as strong as it could be. I’m 133 lbs and about 5’6 pretty flexible.
I use a lot of bottom half guard and arm drags. I don’t know if I’m having the blue belt blues or what. But damn it has gotten some much harder with everyone getting better too. Which I’m not complaining about but if you have any advice on things I should focus on being my size. I watch a lot stuff but it seems like most of it is for people close to your size. If you all have any recommendations please let me know. Also I work out usually 3 days a week push/pull/legs and do HIIT and LISS cardio.
