30 years old starting and keep getting injured
Typing this from the ER. I’m 30 years old, 6’4”, 215 lbs, and started Jiu-Jitsu about two months ago. Three weeks in, I developed a bad case of turf toe on my left foot, which I’m still recovering from. I took five weeks off to heal and just returned to training yesterday. Now, I’m here waiting on an X-ray to check for a possible hairline fracture in my right foot.
Feeling pretty discouraged. Any advice or words of wisdom?
EDIT: To clarify, the suspected fracture is in the foot other than the one with turf toe. So now both feet are messed up.
UPDATE: No fracture, just another sprain.
