favorite birth control you’ve tried?

i need to get on birth control and was mainly wondering what is everyone’s favorite brand/type they have tried? i need it mainly for my awful hormonal acne and having incredibly painful periods, as well as obviously not having kids lmfaoo 😭 what brands had the worst side effects and what ones do you find work the best for you? just looking for opinions or general advice before my doctors appointment next week 😊 tysm!
