International Rules Basketball

(Possible shitpost but could have some merit) FIBA may have the answer to the 3-ball problem: Let the players grab the ball off the rim as soon as it hits the basket. Could be a more organic way to dissuade too many three-ball attempts.

I actually kind of dig this rule change for multiple reasons:

• aforementioned possible 3-ball reduction
• foregoes the occasional cylinder-related goaltending game stoppages
• could make offense more exciting with players not worried about offensive interference on putback dunks.
