Bath & Body Works of yesteryear.

If you are relatively new to BBW, you might not understand some of the criticism lately of the products. I began shopping at BBW when I was in middle school (1993ish - and now you realize I am old) but it was different than anything else. When you picked up Country Apple, you knew you were going to smell Apple. Same with Sun Ripened Raspberry, Vanilla Bean (the original is probably the BEST smelling vanilla you will ever find - yet no one seems to remember it) Sea Spray, Cool Citrus Basil, Plumeria, Rice Flower and Shea, Flowering Herbs and there was a Christmas one called Sugar Plum Fairy that if they ever brought back, oh it would be wonderful. The Sugar Plums of the past years are duds. I feel they lost it when they started making the scent names complicated and started changing all their formulas and packaging.

You could put on a lotion and spray and still smell like it at the end of the day. None of this FFM where you spray and spray and half the time nothing comes out. Or it is so fine it evaporates before it makes it to your skin.

Let's talk prices. I understand with the way things stand - prices are bound to go up, but they up their prices multiple times a year.

I'll still buy from BBW, they make great gifts and once in a while they come up with a unique smell, but when I go to the store now and look at the scents on the wall - they all just melt together. I don't really need that many versions of cashmere. If you feel the same way I do, you just do.
