NY bar registration- No LLM needed

Hi! I’m a foreign educated lawyer who doesn’t need an LLM to be eligible to take the NY Bar (base from other alumni in my law school. I’m just a bit confused with the deadline for evaluation for eligibility. From the NY bar website, to my understanding, the Oct 1 deadline for the July bar only applies to those who need an LLM to cure their eligibility. Those who don’t need an LLM have until March 31. Did I understand that correctly?
