Shaved head bald and got nothing but negative comments

I’m a 28 male and I have a pretty bad widows peak. Well after enough contemplating I finally shaved it off and I was confused how I felt about it. After about a week I’ve gotten nothing but negative comments towards how much everyone dislikes it.

My question is has anyone experienced this and what was your reaction to the negative comments personally. Any advice?
