I hate “bless you” so much

We all know that saying, “bless you” comes from old superstitious beliefs. This alone should make it annoying to everyone, but nearly everyone still unfortunately holds stupid beliefs. I’ve lived in the southern United States my entire life, and the way people take pride in quickly saying it whenever someone sneezes infuriates me. I used to work with a guy who would shout it to someone far away and that person would always shout, THANK YOU!” Nothing happened! Nothing has occurred here! This is self congratulatory nonsense. I hate people.
