Do you guys accidentally pull on your pube hairs when jerking off?

When I grab it and pull up, some hair gets caught between my fingers and sometimes some hair even falls off due to the fact I'm pulling up and down do y'all have any advice on how to grab it comfortably, without pulling on the hair?
