New very large amalgam filling, metallic taste in mouth

Hello, I got a temporary filling replaced nearly a week ago, it's a very large amalgam filling. There are no other metal fillings near the tooth, and the temporary filling replaced an old amalgam filling. Since the replacement I've had a metallic taste in my mouth. Brushing my teeth gets rid of it for a short while, but it quickly returns. No pain in the tooth or surrounding gum.
