my portrait screen saver has been processing since june 2024

for the past 8 months, ive been waiting for my photos to finally process for portrait. but every time i check, its the same thing, "Processing your photos for this screen saver. Check back later."

my photos are synced to icloud and i have a lot of items, why is this happening?
