Help I'd this bullet, please!

Found this in an old ammo pouch from a dead relative. It's a military cartridge. I figured out the maker and the stamp on bottom says 5 05. May 1905? I took some pics with a 30.06 spent brass next to it for comparison.

Rimmed, big pill. Any clues are helpful!
