Any help appreciated!
This might be a long post but I'll try to keep it short. I'm a 32 YO man, around 6ft tall with no confidence, and few friends. When I was younger I was very alt, but I fell into a bad depression from 20-31 due to undiagnosed ADHD, bad relationships, etc.
I ballooned up to 26 stone (165kg). I stopped looking after myself, you get the idea. Since August/September 2023, I have been making changes thanks to my partner and a good friend. Im down to 17 stone (108ishkg). I'm aiming to lost another 3 stone and get down to 14 stone (89kg).
After losing all this weight I can finally buy clothes I enjoy, not just what fits. It's really hard to know what to get. I have some questions about brands and would appreciate any advice!
Brand and shop ideas: I'm looking for clothes that are a little bit alty, but not too much. I'm looking for shops and brands in the UK specifically!
I have some questions on Vans Sizing:
Chinos. I bought some slim chinos off a UK second hand selling site. They were brand new and sealed. It says regular inseam. How long is that? I'm 6ft and they are really long! Is that normal? Like if I am not wearing my AF1 I would be treading on them!
Hats. Unexpected side effect of weight loss.... My head has shrunk 🤣 I normally wear a size 8 new era fitted. But now my size 8s are too big, I just bought a new size 8 and same problem. What are vans hats sized like? Their website soze chart says they are bigger than new era size 8 at 69cm max (new era size 8 is 64.5cm). So that seems off? I'm interested in the curved bill jockey hats especially. But good to know all.
Shoes I used to wear old skools wayyyyyy back when I was younger. How does their sizing compare to Air Force 1s?
Dickies:
Generally what are dickies sizes like? Small, right, bad?
