Q&A by Adrian Tomine

I was disappointed with this book.

Partly my fault, as I just assumed the whole book was about his work (which I enjoy and am interested in), when really at least half of it is only about Tomine as a person (which will appeal only to those interested in him as a "celebrity"). And no, I don't mean the personal stuff that is somewhat related to his work.

The parts where he does talk about his work are interesting, but there isn't nearly enough of it to warrant the price tag. Especially considering the higher than usual volume of white space, due to the Q&A forma. I'd estimate there's around 20 pages worth of blank space within the 165 pages (ie. around 12%). Keep in mind it's a small format (smaller than an A5 I think). Sure, page count isn't a measure of quality, but it did feel like quite a rip-off.
