When should eyepro be replaced ?

Hi guys,

I've been browsing the Reddit and Google for quite a while and have found many differing opinions on when eyepro should be replaced so I thought I'd ask here.

I use bolle pilot 2s which are rated EN166B. As they are safety goggles with EN testing, this means that they're rated for a 6mm 0.86g projectile at 120ms which I think is roughly (6 Joules). However I have read that testing is for 1 impact only.

In Airsoft where repeated hits are common, should the goggles be replaced after every game day ?

Or is the standard (6J) high enough to where the goggles will be safe from BB impacts for at least a few years as long as there is no other damage to lense ?

Thanks for reading and looking forward to recieving the community's insight. I personally am someone who worries a lot about eyepro failing and so a more definite answer on this topic would be greatly reassuring.
