I have my appointment on the 24th

And I am so nervous and feel so guilty, but I know I’m making the right choice. I will also be put to sleep, does anyone have any advice ? Also with the medicine, will I still feel it? The lady said I will be in and out of consciousness, and how is the recovery after ?
