Recommendation for rustic but comfortable wool (Aran weight)

I want to do the Dagmar sweater and I’d use the suggested yarn (Hjelholts Uldspinderi Hjelholt Triple) but I can’t find it in the US in my preferred colorway and I’m not willing to spend $40 on shipping alone. I want something that is still fairly rustic but also not going to be super uncomfortable to wear. I definitely don’t want something that’s going to be really soft and ultra drapey. I’ve looked through the recommended yarns on ravelry and considering things like drops or fisherman’s wool, but I’d really love a suggestion of something a bit nicer and more special feeling.
