[Bulova Chronograph C] Do you have a watch you think of getting rid of, then wear it and change your mind? What watch is it and why?
For me, it's this Bulova Chronograph C. I always look at it in my collection as a large, oversized, overstated piece that looks too loud in the watch box compared to its neighbors. At a 46mm case size, it's much too giant and obnoxious, isn't it? However, each time I put it on, I'm charmed by the Americana it oozes, and am reminded, that on my 7.5"/19cm wrist, it's plenty wearable due to its lug less design. Does it have wrist presence and is it a notable piece? It certainly is, but, it's not overly gaudy, obnoxious, or overshadowing my wrist. It's a nice signature piece in my collection that has been a conversation starter in several instances. I am reminded that we should wear what we enjoy, and that some personality shines through and is reflected back at ourselves when we wear items that we curated and chose.
What's a piece that you feel like rotating out of your collection, u til you wear it again, making you fall back in love with it?
