How is warrior cats still popular?!

Before you all come at me I adore the series. I was heavy into the fandom around 2016 when I was about 13. I'm now 21 and shocked (but thrilled) to see that it's still going.

I understand books are still being released but I'm surprised so many people are still finding and getting into the series.

so I have some questions, can anyone help answer them?

• is the fandom bigger or smaller now than it used to be around 2016?

• Is anyone my age still around? or is the main fandom young?

• biggest warriors rp site nowadays? (side note anyone remember Bryniel??)

• how hasn't it died out?? most series of this length tend to go stale and eventually just get lost to time.
