Best vs Worst Engines Ever

I recently bought a MK6 2.5L Golf. I have owned a 1.8T, 3.2VR6 and most recently a 2.0T FSI (CCTA). I want everyone to share there list of worst and best engines made by VW/AUDI.

Worst:

2.0T CCTA and EA888 (Earlier ones?) Newer TDI's (Post 06')

Best:

ALH (BEW? Would say fairly reliable) 2.0 (MK3/MK4) (MK6?) 2.5L (MK5/MK6)

Before everyone starts going on a VR6 rant. Yes they are reliable but the timing chains and guides going are the biggest downfall. My favorite engine though. Arguably the best sound 6cyl engine ever.
