Advice for Starting a Career in Cybersecurity as a Veteran

I'm a recently retired veteran currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science and looking to transition into Cybersecurity. I want to enhance my career prospects by earning relevant certifications and would appreciate recommendations on which ones to pursue initially. I'm using VR&E for funding, so I'm specifically seeking online, asynchronous programs or schools that accept VR&E, allowing me to complete the certifications alongside my university coursework. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated!
