Questions about vampire crab death

Hey guys so my vampire crab passed away just wanted to know if anyone knows why I went away for a weekend and made sure his terrarium was good for the weekend while I was gone for 2 days I’m not going to post the pictures here but if anyone could possibly have answers please dm me thank you!
