SpaceWalker for Windows v1.1.0.1 is now live with optimized performance, enhanced stability, and more!

SpaceWalker for Windows version 1.1.0.1 is now available with localization improvements, optimized performance, bug fixes, and more.

In this update:

  • SpaceWalker now automatically selects the localization language according to the system language. For languages that are not supported, English is displayed by default. Currently supported are Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, English, and Japanese.
  • Upon connection, SpaceWalker will automatically adjust the XR glasses' duty cycle to 50%, brightness will slightly darken, and the trailing effect will be improved.
  • Adjusted the Slerp interpolation coefficient to 0.5 to improve the trailing effect when turning the head quickly.
  • Optimized performance. When installing software, the graphics card used for virtual screens will prioritize independent graphics cards with strong performance, reducing the occupancy rate of integrated graphics cards in multi-graphics card environments.
  • Added running status frame rate statistics to facilitate later analysis of performance metrics for different graphics card environments.
  • Fixed other non-obvious errors to enhance stability.
  • Solved a problem causing XR glasses IMU data to be stuck in a 3-second cycle when the computer has no sound output. Here's how to resolve this issue if it happens to you:
  1. Before starting the virtual screen, opt to automatically switch the audio output device to VITURE.
  2. If mute is detected, temporarily unmute for 15 seconds.
  3. Unity automatically plays muted audio files as background sound after startup.
  4. If the system was in silent mode before, automatically switch the system back to silent mode after 15 seconds.
  • The XR glasses' audio device name does not always include "VITURE" in the title in Windows, so the first step in this solution may not work — in this case, manually select the XR glasses as your playback device and the lag phenomenon will disappear.

SpaceWalker is VITURE's immersive XR experience for use on all VITURE XR glasses. The app is now available on iOS (currently rated 4.5 stars), Android, macOS, and Windows. Earlier iPhones require our HDMI XR Adapter to connect, while iPhone 15 models work with our XR glasses directly (but can be further enhanced with all the cool head-tracking features like multi-screen, 1-click 3D/spatial video, and 360/180 VR videos with our USB-C XR Charging Adapter). No adapters are needed for SpaceWalker features on Android, macOS, and Windows.
