The 2012 Annacy Lake murders of four people in a rural area of the French Alps, has never been solved.

The last picture on the family camera was at 3:17pm and a biker noticed some tourists of the murders when he came upon them at 3:45pm.
The dead cyclist was shot seven times and was thought to have accidently come upon the scene during the murders. He had spoken to his ex wife on the phone at 3:28 and was found dead by a passing cyclist at 3:45 pm. The cyclist who found the murders didn't have a phone and cycled to some hikers down the hill who immediately called police. The cyclist who found them said that he passed a forest service truck and a motorcyclist on the route to the scene.
The seven year old daughter recalled a man wearing leather pants and jacket. The passing cyclist recalled the helmet of the motorcyclist and a man was located and detained for questioning on two different occasions but no charges were ever filed.
Saad al Hilli's brother was said to have had an argument about money with him before the murders but no charges came of it.
No weapon was found but the police found a piece of a Luger where the seven year old was clubbed.
