Too few calories 😅
I’m 13 weeks in and on 5mg. For the first time I am experiencing extreme suppression. Yesterday my calories came in at 950, today 985, and this is the message I got when I tried to complete my daily calorie intake diary on MyFitnessPal. I already know that women aren’t meant to eat less than 1000-1200, which is why I’ve been alarmed at this suppression, I would never normally eat so little, not that I even could, I was always hungry, all the time, only less so when I did high protein, but never below 1500-1600 cals.
I physically can’t get more in. My meals today were:
Breakfast: Coffee w oat milk and a protein bar which took me ages to finish Lunch: 1/2 cup Greek yoghurt, 1/2 cup raspberries, 1tsp chia seeds, 1tsp crushed walnuts, sugar free syrup, I also couldn’t finish and had to eat the rest later on. Tea: 2 scoops whey protein, collagen powder, other various supplement I add to my smoothie Dinner: 218g mince recipe that includes onion and peas + a tablespoon of mayonnaise to try to get the calories in. 2+litres of water.
Last week my calories dropped from on average 1400-1500, to around 1200. I’d rather be at 1200 than under eating as it is just not good for the body! 😅
