dumbass tryna get fit

So this semester onwards, I want to be able to go the ARC to workout at least 4-5 times a week. But the problem is that I am a Noob. Like, I have no idea at all about any of the machines since never I stepped foot inside in my first year on campus. And more than embarrassing myself, I am worried that once I get there I won't know what to use, how to use it, and how much to use it. I don't want to waste my time loitering inside doing random stuff badly, but I don't know what's available in there and how I can make the most of it. I wish there was a nice trainer or someone but to date I haven't heard of that being a thing.

I just want to have a fitness routine that I can follow everyday early in the mornings before classes start. If I can't figure out the ARC at all...do I just run around the campus or something? I am looking to lose weight and build muscle afterward.

What should I do? Side question, does anyone know what's available at the fitness rooms at ISR?
