I hate being an Asian girl who cosplays

The title says it all. I’m 27 soon and still pass for 20 and get ID’d. A lot of my hinge matches are Asian or foreigners who wrote their hobby is anime or manga. When I posted a cosplay photo on my hinge the comments were disgusting. Immediately took it off.

I’ve meet up with people from hinge I genuinely liked talking to but one once commented on how I look “Japanese”. NO. I am cosplaying, not trying to pass as Japanese.

And then there’s always talk on anime, sushi, and trying to communicate in broken Japanese.

I’m really into jirai kei fashion, still wear it frequently despite my age, and a lot of guys tend to treat it like cosplay despite the fact I’m just into cute clothes. At one point I legit had a guy ask seriously if I would do cosplay during sex.

Ashdhdjfk why do men sexualize legit hobbies??!!
