My thoughts on girl boss feminism and Marxist or socialist feminism.

Girl boss feminism vs marxist or socialist feminism

So I will start off by saying I am a girl boss feminist. But I was listening to a podcast called redfem, and they were critiquing girl boss feminism. They were saying how girl boss feminism encourages women to work and be independent, because this puts you in a better position in relation to men, and how through private capital, you pay for things like childcare, house cleaning, while under Marxist feminism, childcare, house cleaning, and private chefs would be provided for mothers by the state. It got me thinking about the role of government, and how society can balance the greater good, with the needs of the individual. I myself am not convinced of the Marxist feminist position, because I don't want mothers, some of whom may be lazy, to reap benefits and rewards from hardworking highly independent single women. I had a stepmother who was just like this. she married my dad solely to live off of him. Didn't work for the whole time she was married to him, and did the bare minimum. She was married to him for over 20 years, but my dad divorced her. I want a system for women and mothers, which supports the hardworking and intelligent among us. I don't want people like my former stepmother to reap the benefits at the expense of women and mothers who work and contribute for a living. My stepmother, who barely did chores around the house and was very lazy, is now living in a low income housing, working at Fred Meyer at minimum wage. Why should women and mothers like her, reap rewards from society, off the backs of women such as my mother, and single independent women, who work? I don't want to enable laziness or dependency, and imo, neither should society or the government. But i would also like to see other people's opinions and thoughts on this.
