Ramsey County, wtf

I've had my fair share of near a hundred hours of wait time spread out over several months trying to get myself health insurance and get my infant daughter coverage. But today hit a new low.

Due to sudden unexpected custody change, I need to get my 3yo special needs daughter on ASAP.

I spent 3 hours yesterday just to get sent to 3 different numbers who each sent me to a different number. Whatever, that's par for the course.

But finally got a hold of the right number at METS. That's the fin aid number listed in the photo.

I SPENT MY ENTIRE DAY, 8:30-3:15, scrambling to watch 2 autistic/ADHD toddlers while simultaneously waiting on hold. Finally, at 3:15, right before closing at 3:30, hold music stopped and it rang. I was floored. Rushed to the phone and picked it up, only to have a dead automated voice tell me "we are currently experiencing systems errors, please try again later", cut to a busy signal, then hang up.

They can't get the MNsure portal to work, can't ask questions, appeal, or even view benefits, let alome allow me to add my oldest daughter's application, so my only option is phone. I have to have this done by the end of the month or I'm screwed on past due bills and missing out on necessary medical appointments.

I can't even pick up her current medication, it's 140 dollars for a couple zofran with a coupon so she can get food down.

I'm unbelievably angry. Tried to call St Paul and they said there's no one to even complain to.

I have to take her to occupational therapy, feeding therapy, have other followups waiting, medical bills unpaid, medication i can't pick up, and meanwhile I can't even get a hold of a live person and their portal is down. And can't even complain to the county.

TLDR: Ramsey county sucks.
