Just Forget What You Know

We’re about to enter a world we’re half the country chooses to forget and ignore basic concepts that they have known for decades. They will no longer understand that tariffs generate income for the government, and the cost is split between the people, and the foreign governments the tariffs target. You can keep denying reality but that’s just HOW IT WORKS. It’s like an insidious tax on the people who buy imported goods, it always has been, it is the fundamental nature of tariffs, and they will make prices go up. Half of the country lacks the sense to see obvious lies as long as they emanate from the king in orange.

The modern Republican Party is the most gullible set of fools in the history of American politics. We are already seeing fools adopt the argument that liberals are a bunch of crybabies who can’t handle the difficult sacrifices that have to be made – they don’t have to be made.
