She's been in the industry for DECADES, and while I do think renaissance is stronger than Cowboy Carter in some ways, this award is long overdue and well-deserved.

Also, I thought we all agreed that TTPD is one of those albums that's for the fans?

(Also can you imagine how insufferable the keyboard warriors would have been if TTPD had won. It would have been podcasts for weeks about how Taylor should have stayed home in protest and refused to accept the award or she's a fake feminist blah blah)
