What's your impression of buying by Yonge and Eg - 195 Redpath? Is the neighborhood soulless?

The building itself seems nice, but from outsiders perspective, the neighborhood feels a bit soulless. I'm curious how people in the neighborhood find it? For perspective, I've rented in the east end by Danforth, and now the west end by Queen and Ossington, and both areas have a feel that from my perspective seems to be missing from Yonge and Eg
