Traitors Exposing Each Other: Ruining the show?
I understand that this needs to be allowed, and it can absolutely be the optimal move sometimes. But it also seems to be a very overused and misguided strategy as of late. Rob did not need to take out Bob so early, at least not in the overconfident way that he did. And Danielle definitely does not need to get Carolyn out first just to get Rob out next. That's a ridiculous plan that will obviously backfire on her.
Due to the Traitors' actions in the past few episodes, they are all being targeted and will likely all be banished sooner or later. I feel confident that both Rob and Danielle will be gone within the next 3 roundtables. Carolyn is still a contender, but unfortunately, I expect people to notice that Danielle was throwing her under the bus. I don't see her winning the game at this point, but I'd love to be wrong since I'm a big Survivor fan and she's my last hope.
We saw the same thing happen last season with Dan targeting Phaedra on his way out. Not only was this move completely unsuccessful, but it essentially outed all three Traitors in one fell swoop. I don't think that was his intention, but it's what happened, and he should've known it would happen. This honestly killed a lot the season's suspense and momentum for me, and I fear it may happen again. I don't find it very satisfying for a Traitor to get banished just because another Traitor voted for them on their way out. However, it seems to play a major factor on many seasons of the show, including international versions. Is there anything that can be done to prevent this moving forward? Personally I just want better Traitors.
