World/plot confusion.

I’m over 100 pages into the Blade Itself. I’m enjoying the characters but the plot and some of the world building is confusing especially the plot with Glotka and Arch Lector. I feel like I’m missing a lot and I find there is not a lot of explaining about all these titles and organizations. Does it start to make more sense?
