Am I A Bad Son?

The latest Besties episode has a segment that boils down to “What game should you gift someone this year?” They split it by demographics, so “what game should you gift your parent/child/teen.” Simple enough.

But Griffin, our sweetest littlest real-life brother, recommends getting the parent-gamer in your life the $300 Great Deku Tree Lego set. This lead to both a spit take and a great moral conundrum: am I underperforming at Christmas time? I got my dad a $50 gift. Same for my mom! Christ on a cross, do I have to spend $300 each? That’s half my rent!

In summary, I will never recover from the warm blanket of guilt and financial ruin that this grown little brother has laid upon me.
