I’ve been listening to the Nugs Moon Place show on repeat for two weeks. I decided to watch the Grunzy Channel clips from the show on YouTube today and I just realized that Stu and Lil’ Joe were both using different amp setups for the show. The entire tour they’ve been using their new Magnatones and Laur’s Brown Face Deluxe. In Cancun, Sturgill was running two Fender amps and Joe was playing through his Brown Face and Fender Champ. I THOUGHT the guitars sounded a little different for that show. Now you know.
