"Punch". How is a Pay-to-Win game still possible in 2025?

I started playing Stumble Guys and was really disappointed when I realized that 'Punch' is a paid/pay-to-win ability. How is it possible that a game still has practices like this in 2025? And worse, it's super OP—elimination rounds become much harder because those with Punch have a huge advantage over you. Seriously, what a ridiculous thing lmao
