Questions regarding Outposts and resources.

As the title says I am kinda frustrated with the outposts and I don’t get the concept.

I was looking for a planet with Iron and Aluminium and at least a 3rd resource but no matter where I land and look at the resource map and try to find a spot were these are maby close together but it seams Impossible . I don’t get it done -.-

What I am doing wrong ? Do I have wrong expectations?
