Is the prequel worth the watch?

I have recently become obsessed with star wars. Before today I only had a rudimentary knowledge about it as I only watched the og ones (ep 4,5 and 6) as a kid. I was looking to watch a show when I stumbled upon Andor. It was a really good imo and sparked a more genuine interest towards this universe. After I finished the show I watched Rogue-One, the movie was good as well. I re-watched episode 4-6 again with renewed interest. I find myself heavily invested in all the characters and the stories. Specially that of Vader’s. Therefore I am contemplating watching ep 1-3. Is it worth it? I have heard mixed reviews about it. I understand that I have cherry picked only the good installations of star wars and have set the bar high for myself. But I still am highly curious about vader’s turn to the dark side. Should I give it a go?
