Baked my starter
I was influenced from TT to start a sourdough starter from scratch… just flour and water. Since it’s winter and I keep my house colder, my starter was living in the oven with the light on. On day 15, I turned the oven to preheat while cooking dinner and forgot about my starter… I was so pissed. Still am LOL but I want to start over. However I need another way to keep the starter warm and not leaving in the oven anymore! Trying to find something that is affordable. I would love to get those nice proofing boxes but since I’m new to the sourdough game, it doesn’t make sense to go that. If I was experienced I would splurge on one. I just want gut healthy bread 🫠
