Is Game-Sonic an alien?

So in the first Sonic movie he's basically treated like an alien moreso than people are reacting like they've seen a talking animal. In Sonic Frontiers the Chaos Emeralds are actually from outer space all along. In Sonic Riders the final boss is a Babylonian guardian who Jet says is an "ancestor" and he kinda looks like Jet (a bird) and his boss stage shifts between being an ancient place and a sci-fi realm.

It kinda makes me wonder if Sonic Team has some unrevealed backstory where ultimately Sonic is actually an alien. It kinda fits with the DBZ-vibes of the franchise as well, where in Dragon Ball, Goku is just some ultra-special kid for the first years of the fiction, but then when it enters the "Z" part of Dragon Ball it's revealed that Goku is actually from a race of aliens and there are more of his kind and all of them have special powers.

I don't think modern-era Sonic adheres much to any Yuji Naka-era rules but still. Sometimes it feels like they're hinting at alien origins.
