[Routine help] Cystic pimple turned hard? What now?

I had a cystic pimple that was rather normal at first.. inflamed and tender. Then I did some warm and cool compresses on it and used my adapalene and cerave PM moisturizer. I got the pimple 2 weeks ago. For the past week and a half it has been a hard painless lump under my skin. I'm prone to hyperpigmentation, I have pale olive skin, so I have a feeling this will leave a gnarly dark spot. I was wondering what can I do to speed up the healing process without increasing my chances of hyperpigmentation and scarring?

I have another prescription of Benzoyl Peroxide coming in the mail tomorrow that I plan to use on it, although I might be a bit late. I've also been considering using hydrocolloid patches, although those tend to cause bad PIH for me so I'm iffy on the idea of that.. but I've read that it works for others. I'm not too sure what to do. I don't pick at my skin and I don't know how to lance.
